Transforming an expansive area of land is akin to working with a blank canvas. We faced the challenge of designing a dynamic landscape that incorporates shade, guides guests through a multi-area poolscape, and leaves plenty of room for kids to run free. With the freeform inground pool as the focal point, we integrated multiple shaded seating areas, including a large pavilion that complements the architecture of the home.
Guests can weave through lush greenery on the natural stone patio, steps, and walkways to encounter several meeting places around a fire pit or on the pool deck. The final result creates harmony with the original land’s movement, allowing these homeowners to enjoy extensive views while finding refuge in the newly structured space.
